
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 18, 2013) - The University of Kentucky Arts in Healthcare's "Tuesdays at Noon" series continues next week with a performance by singer and songwriter John Edmonds.
The event, part of a weekly collaboration between UK and the Kentucky Arts Council, will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, in the UK Chandler Hospital's Pavilion A Atrium Lobby.
Edmonds is a message singer at heart. This nationally and internationally acclaimed singer/pianist, celebrating 50 years of professional performing, has a repertoire that includes tunes such as "He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother,""I Believe I Can Fly,""I Believe In Music,"" What The World Needs Now Is Love," and gospel standards such as "How Great Thou Art" and "Joshua."
Edmonds says, “I like to sing songs that convey a message of peace, hope, joy and love.”
