As a result of the research recommendations of the Cancer Moonshot Blue Ribbon Panel, the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (CRCHD) has launched the national Screen to Save (S2S) Colorectal Cancer Outreach and Screening Initiative. The University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center's Community Health Educator, Mindy Rogers, will collaborate with state and regional organizations and community stakeholders throughout Appalachian Kentucky this year to conduct culturally-tailored education and outreach using NCI’s S2S campaign materials and resources.
