Prior to COVID-19, telemedicine wasn't an option for most patients seeking addiction treatment or those working on achieving remission and recovery from substance use disorders. But as the disease began to spread across the state in March, the UK HealthCare clinics and programs that help patients with substance use disorders were able to quickly pivot to telemedicine to continue offering evaluations and care.
