When his hip pain became nearly unbearable, Ironman athlete Chris Schmidt knew he would have to have surgery. After a thoughtful treatment approach from UK orthopaedic surgeon Stephen Duncan, Schmidt successfully completed an Ironman race just seven months later, earning a bid to the famous Kona Ironman World Championship.
