LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 16, 2013) -- UK HealthCare volunteers and employees did a lot of heavy lifting Friday, Dec. 13, as schools from nine Central Kentucky counties arrived to pick up hundreds of gifts for needy children through the Circle of Love program.
Festively wrapped boxes, guitars and even bicycles were loaded onto school buses this morning destined for approximately 800 children in Fayette, Anderson, Clark, Scott, Nicholas, Bourbon, Madison, Woodford, and Jessamine counties. The Circle of Love Program pairs UK HealthCare staff with needy children who would otherwise not have gifts this holiday season.
